美元兌主要外幣週三下跌，ADP 公司公布美國私人企業 7 月新增就業人數低於預期，為美元帶來壓力。
追踪美元兌一籃六種貨幣走勢的美元指數下跌 0.39% 至 92.56，創今年低點。
ADP 公布，美國私人企業 7 月新增就業僅 17.8 萬人，低於預估的新增 18.5 萬人。

但克利夫蘭 Fed 銀行總裁 Mester 週三說，央行可能持續緩慢緊縮的政策，因為此一政策有助延長經濟擴張。
Mester 說：「我認為持續這項政策，可清除模糊不明狀態，強化我們有系統製定貨幣政策的事實。」
美元下跌，支撑了英鎊上漲，英國央行週四將舉行政策會議，決定是否升息。
英鎊上漲 0.24% 至 1.3239 美元。預期英國央行將維持利率不變，但交易員將注意英國央行的會議記錄，及總裁卡尼的談話，以研判未來的貨幣政策。
歐元上漲 0.61% 至 1.1876 美元，歐元上漲 0.36% 至 0.8969 英鎊。
美元上漲 0.05% 至 110.41 日元。
